Great read。 Everyone should read it!

Pity most of the elected politicians, who work FOR THE PEOPLE, don’t follow the US Constitution。

It wasn’t like Hamilton at all! They didn’t even sign or dance。。。 I was expecting a lot more since the play is so good。 And there was NOTHING about the Schuyler sister?! Waste of my time。。。

I'm not typically one to fling around the claim, of this-and-that being "religious," on account of their devout followings。 However, no other adjective seems fitting enough, to describe the level of reverence Americans seem to possess over their Constitution。 As an outsider who, I will confess, has never spent a living second on American soil, it's always struck me as fundamentally odd, how devoted they are to it。 I remember one occasion, in particular, when I was a young lad, that this stumped I'm not typically one to fling around the claim, of this-and-that being "religious," on account of their devout followings。 However, no other adjective seems fitting enough, to describe the level of reverence Americans seem to possess over their Constitution。 As an outsider who, I will confess, has never spent a living second on American soil, it's always struck me as fundamentally odd, how devoted they are to it。 I remember one occasion, in particular, when I was a young lad, that this stumped me greatly。 It was just after the Tea Party protests had happened, and a news report was going on about how a group related to them, was preaching about how such-and-such (I forget exactly what, pardon my imperfect memory to the incident) was against the Constitution。 My mother, watching the news, commented near me: "Man these Americans are getting radical to their Book。 I knew they've always been like this, but God it's getting ridiculous。" Somewhat curious - as any kid I'd imagine would be to such a statement - I asked: "Mommy, what is their Book? And why are they fighting over it?" She replied: "Oh they call it a 'Constitution。' And they fight over it because no one down there, seems to know what the hell it's supposed to say。 It's like the Bible: everyone kills each-other just because one person preached the wrong verse in a Sunday sermon。" Confused, I remember asking again along the lines of: "But mommy, they're not saying it like the Bible。 There's no stories or words of God。" "Oh they don't need any of that to fight over it," she replied, "words on a page are words on a page: anything will rattle their cage with enough bullshit。"That incident marked the first time, least that I can remember, of how a great deal seem to view their Constitution down in America。 Of course, the events of 2016 and it's successive happenings, further added to that view of confusion, wonder, and in time: pessimism。 Added on top of this, was seeing continuous and persisted claims by others, about how such-and-such group is trying to infiltrate the sanctity of their Holy Word。 And the last of those is another thing which intrigues me, especially since their latest national charade (elections they call these) went through it's due course。I can imagine many, by this point, have seen some go around, telling about how some group is trying to rewrite the Constitution, or abuse it, or go against; or something else that, as said, defies their Holy Word。 For the "conservatives," it's always the "leftists。" And the same as well reversed。 I have to admit, I've found a good deal of it all but a ridiculous and childish game of name-calling, for a long while now。 It's not to say I've never followed wholly in line with the game - I was somewhat in the latter category for a brief time - but the more I thought about, looked at things, and at times even examined their diatribes: the more I came to see what really might be the issue behind it。And that issue is quite simple: it is being abused and "defied。" Not by either/or, though: it's a universal sacrilege。 To take from a friend of mine, I was talking with a few months back on this: the only difference is one wears a MAGA hat, and the other a Ridin' With Biden or BLM badge。 It, as always, goes a bit further than that, but the idea's there: both are two sides of the same coin, doing more-or-less the same thing。 The difference is in who or what causes the problem, not in if it happens。 But, for when a land has such a devout worship of this text, this idol of theirs almost: can we not expect such conflicts? I can't。 It comes as apart of the game, I think。 The game of worship, that is。 When something becomes revered so deeply and passionately, with such radical spirit and indebted servitude to the word: even the smallest of digressions or changes, can cause the fall of everything。 Who or what triggers it, in such cases, becomes almost worthless other than as a footnote to the records。 I've gone on with this ramble for a bit long now, I think I'll stop here。 My point's been given, and that was the intent。 And since this is supposed to be a review of a book, I should perhaps say a bit to make it one。 I admit that, as to what I think of their Constitution: not a great deal of note。 I hadn't expected much to begin with, and was unusually delivered as expected。 Usually my expectations, are not as what was preconceived before reading it。 But such was the rare case here。 Somewhat mediocre with a note or two of interest, but otherwise not much。 It's appears like one of those books/texts, which if not of the right crowd: the reaction is hardly ever more than that of indifference。 。。。more

Overrated。 The Communist manifest had a much better plot line, just saying。

Heard on audiobook。 Despite the dryness of the constitution, the narrator made it interesting。 I really enjoyed the Declaration of Independence & the Bill of Rights/amendments。

Unfortunately we are living in the Divided States of Post-Constitutional Communist America or DSPCCA for short。 The Constitution was always an inconvenient roadblock to the American Communist party, aka The Democrats and now the roadblock has been removed through the stolen 2020 election and each and every one of us let it happen instead of killing all the traitors responsible。

Note: I am not American。 I've never even been to America。Considering how old the Constitution is, it's better than I expected it to be。 The basic structures of government are laid out fairly well, I just find it kind of irritating that a lot of things are left quite vague, which means that a lot of the interpreting is left up to the Supreme Court。 I've been thinking about something that a lot of Americans would probably consider to be heretical: writing a new constitution。 And I don't mean by tha Note: I am not American。 I've never even been to America。Considering how old the Constitution is, it's better than I expected it to be。 The basic structures of government are laid out fairly well, I just find it kind of irritating that a lot of things are left quite vague, which means that a lot of the interpreting is left up to the Supreme Court。 I've been thinking about something that a lot of Americans would probably consider to be heretical: writing a new constitution。 And I don't mean by that that huge changes are needed, just that the Constitution could use some face lifting, which would be tedious to do with Amendments。 (And yes, I am aware that writing a new constitution in today's political climate in America would be impossible。) My main reasons for considering this are:1。 The wording of the original text is starting to get archaic, which will cause more and more problems as time goes on。 There are even spelling differences (for example, choose is spelt chuse)。2。 As I've already said, some things are quite vague, especially in the "extreme" measures, such as impeachment or presidential pardons。 It would be nice if things were stated more explicitly and given clear boundaries, that way less things would have to rely on interpretations by the Supreme Court。3。 It's getting chaotic。 Some parts of the original text are no longer valid because they've been changed by amendments, yet the text still remains in the Constitution。 Also, the Amendments are chaotic。 Some amendments amend other amendments, some are repealed altogether。 Some things could be stated in a single Amendment, but in reality, are split into multiple ones (e。 g。 restricting voting based on race/age/sex could all be one amendment (or section) instead of three)。 And yes, if you were already writing a new constitution, you could also change some of the things in it, for example get rid of the Electoral College。 。。。more

The plot is basically non-existent, and it gets very preachy early on。 I'm not familiar with Founding Fathers' body of work, but this did not convince me to read his other stuff: The word "shall" is literally repeated every two lines, like, pick up a damn thesaurus you dingus! Sorry Mr。 Fathers, but this was very lazy of you。 The plot is basically non-existent, and it gets very preachy early on。 I'm not familiar with Founding Fathers' body of work, but this did not convince me to read his other stuff: The word "shall" is literally repeated every two lines, like, pick up a damn thesaurus you dingus! This was an ASTOUNDING piece of literature。 Every word, every letter written delicately on that years old page with the quill and ink, sent a shiver through my body。 This has me gasping and crying and throwing this book across the room。 The romance was small, but still there。 The hidden meanings are hidden, but not unnoticeable so you can still conquer up ideas and theories。 This thriller is truly amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new book to read。 I am a big fan of This was an ASTOUNDING piece of literature。 Every word, every letter written delicately on that years old page with the quill and ink, sent a shiver through my body。 This has me gasping and crying and throwing this book across the room。 The romance was small, but still there。 The hidden meanings are hidden, but not unnoticeable so you can still conquer up ideas and theories。 This thriller is truly amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new book to read。 I am a big fan of the Founding Fathers works, but this one has to be my favorite 。。。more

Fascinating little document which every American should read at least once a year。 Why has it been so long between readings for me?! The ConstitutionI felt since another inauguration day was upon us that another reading of the Constitution was on order。 It's still a magnificent document, clear and concise。 Along with the Amendments dealing with specific situations in our history, the Constitution is still the best governing document I know。 The ConstitutionI felt since another inauguration day was upon us that another reading of the Constitution was on order。 It's still a magnificent document, clear and concise。 Along with the Amendments dealing with specific situations in our history, the Constitution is still the best governing document I know。 。。。more
